We supply essential water and wastewater services to the three million homes and businesses of the North West. Households currently pay just under £1 per day on average for high quality drinking water to meet all their daily needs and for environmentally responsible wastewater collection and treatment.
These essential services need to be maintained. Our plan sets out how we intend to invest in and improve our service over the five years from 2010 to bring about even better drinking water quality and environmental performance, and what that means for our customers’ bills. Before preparing this plan, we asked our stakeholders, including 2,000 household and 500 business customers, together with consumer groups, for their views which helped us to shape it.
