The Drinking Water Inspectorate (DWI) checks that we supply water that is safe to drink when it reaches your home or business. The quality of the water we supply has never been better. Each year we carry out about half a million test tests on our drinking water. The results of these tests are kept in a public Drinking Water Register.
In 2008, 99.89% of samples at customers’ taps met all required standards set by the DWI.
